In this hybrid role, you will balance inbound and outbound outreach covering everything from onboarding new businesses to growing your existing book of business. You’re the hunter and the farmer: building relationships meant to last, and every interaction should reflect well on Lyft Business.<br><br>You'll be part of a driven, tight-knit sales team that’s laser-focused on winning new business. We're looking for people who know how to hustle, work well with others, stay locked in on results while helping organizations get the most out of what Lyft Business has to offer.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Reach out to a wide range of stakeholders across the SMB space, turning inbound leads into Lyft Business customers, as well as re-engaging existing customers with our newest product offerings.</li><li>Keep Salesforce as your source of truth by diligently logging activity and being adamant on keeping your pipeline pristine.</li><li>Dig into what's holding a prospect back, ask the right questions to surface real concerns, and shape a pitch that actually fits their business.</li><li>Actively incorporate AI into your workflow to identify high quality prospects, tailor messaging, and refine pitch delivery</li><li>Stay clear headed and positive when priorities move or the path forward isn't obvious, and keep pushing deals toward value for both the client and Lyft.</li><li>Juggle a large, active book of business without dropping the ball — every touchpoint should land on time and feel polished.</li><li>Grow your book of business consisting of small and mid-sized companies through a steady mix of calls and meetings, converting them into customers and/or growing their spend with us.</li><li>Commit to a daily rhythm of outbound calls (50+) so your pipeline never runs dry.</li><li>Make a strong first impression in every interaction, representing Lyft with the kind of professionalism that turns a first meeting into a lasting partnership.</li><li>Track your numbers closely week to week, keep your calendar full of appointments, and stay ahead of your goals rather than chasing them.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Experience:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Minimum 1 year of experience in sales or business development</li><li>You demonstrate persistence and a high tolerance for rejection in a fast-paced environment</li><li>You are comfortable thinking on your feet and have a natural curiosity to ask the right questions</li><li>Proven experience in a quota-carrying role with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.</li><li>Experience developing an account prioritization framework and contact identification strategies.</li><li>Ability to search for and identify prospective business opportunities aligned with business strategy.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Benefits:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Great medical, dental, and vision insurance options with additional programs available when enrolled</li><li>Mental health benefits</li><li>Family building benefits</li><li>Child care and pet benefits</li><li>401(k) plan with company match to help save for your future</li><li>In addition to 12 observed holidays, salaried team members have discretionary paid time off, hourly team members have 15 days paid time off</li><li>18 weeks of paid parental leave.
