Are you a recent graduate with a degree in fashion merchandising, retail, business or a related field? At Shoe Carnival Inc., we offer the perfect opportunity for you to kickstart your career as a Merchandise Drop Ship Assistant.

Enjoy working on-site at Shoe Carnival’s corporate office located in Fort Mill, South Carolina! This position will work in the corporate HQ office at 1800 Innovation Pt, Fort Mill South Carolina and have the option to work remotely on Friday.

The Merchandise Drop Ship Assistant performs administrative work and provides support to the Drop Ship Manager

  • Facilitates and ensures timely completion of style set up process.
  • Updates drop ship pricing.
  • Maintains drop ship database file (i.e. removal of styles and upc maintenance).
  • Creates and maintains drop ship merchandise analysis reports in Excel.
  • Performs quality assurance checks for all stock keeping units (skus), including accurate photography, categorization, description, and product name.
  • Acts as the liaison between Merchandising and Drop Ship operations to resolve issues related to the presentation of products online.
  • Partners with the eCommerce Photographer to resolve product photography errors.
  • Creates or reproduces reports, forms, correspondence, and other materials as needed by the Manager.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office and ability to create and maintain complex spreadsheets.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to embrace and manage change.
  • Strong follow up and follow through to ensure all tasks are fully completed.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
