Vice President, Solution Marketing

About Blue Yonder:

Blue Yonder is a global leader in digital supply chain and omni-channel commerce solutions. Our platform helps retailers, manufacturers, and logistics providers plan, predict, and fulfill demand with greater speed, intelligence, and resilience.

As AI transforms the future of supply chain management, Blue Yonder is at the forefront of this evolution. Through predictive, generative, and agentic AI capabilities, we are enabling organizations to move from software that recommends actions to software that can autonomously coordinate and execute decisions within defined business parameters. Our vision is to create intelligent supply chain networks where people supervise outcomes while AI orchestrates execution across planning, transportation, warehousing, commerce, and fulfillment.

Overview:

Blue Yonder is seeking a Director of AI Marketing to define, elevate, and commercialize our AI narrative across the market.

This is a highly strategic role for a marketer who can bridge advanced technology and business outcomes. You will develop a deep understanding of Blue Yonder's AI architecture, models, and roadmap, then translate that expertise into compelling positioning, messaging, thought leadership, and go-to-market strategies that resonate with executives, analysts, customers, and prospects.

Scope:

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable discussing agentic AI architectures with product and engineering teams as they are presenting differentiated business value to a Chief Supply Chain Officer, retail executive, industry analyst, or member of the executive leadership team.

You will serve as the enterprise owner of Blue Yonder's AI positioning and messaging framework, ensuring technical credibility, commercial relevance, and market differentiation across all customer-facing channels.

What you will do:

Own Blue Yonder's AI Narrative

  • Define and evolve the company's AI positioning, messaging, and value proposition across predictive, generative, and agentic AI capabilities.
  • Develop a cohesive narrative architecture that communicates how Blue Yonder's approach to AI creates differentiated business outcomes for customers.
  • Establish and maintain messaging standards that ensure consistency across corporate, product, industry, and sales communications.

Build Deep Technical Fluency

  • Develop working expertise in Blue Yonder's AI ecosystem, including orchestration frameworks, model development approaches, autonomous workflows, and solution-specific AI capabilities.
  • Partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Data Science, and AI leadership teams to understand roadmap priorities and emerging innovations.
  • Serve as the marketing authority on AI strategy and market-facing technical storytelling.

Drive AI Go-to-Market Strategy

  • Partner with Product Marketing, Industry Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success organizations to bring AI innovations to market effectively.
  • Support launches of new AI capabilities through differentiated messaging, customer value frameworks, sales plays, and commercialization strategies.
  • Ensure AI narratives are tailored to the needs of key industries, buyer personas, and executive stakeholders.

Support Executive, Analyst, and Industry Influence

  • Develop executive-level presentations, keynote content, briefing materials, and thought leadership programs focused on AI innovation.
  • Partner with Analyst Relations to shape perception with Gartner, IDC, Nucleus Research, and other key industry influencers.
  • Represent marketing in cross-functional discussions involving AI strategy, market trends, and competitive positioning.

Strengthen Commercial Readiness

  • Enable sales, solution consulting, and marketing teams with AI-focused messaging, competitive intelligence, proof points, and customer stories.
  • Create scalable assets and frameworks that help revenue teams confidently articulate Blue Yonder's AI differentiation.
  • Establish feedback mechanisms that continuously improve messaging based on customer and field input.

Lead Competitive and Market Intelligence

  • Monitor AI developments across supply chain, retail, SaaS, and enterprise software markets.
  • Assess competitive AI positioning and identify opportunities to strengthen Blue Yonder's differentiated market position.
  • Translate market trends into actionable messaging and strategic recommendations for leadership.

Champion Responsible AI Messaging

  • Partner with Product, Security, Legal, and Corporate Communications teams to ensure AI claims are accurate, credible, and defensible.
  • Establish governance and review processes for externally communicated AI capabilities and customer outcomes.
  • Ensure messaging appropriately addresses transparency, oversight, data privacy, security, and responsible AI principles.

Measure Impact

  • Define and track metrics that evaluate AI messaging adoption, sales effectiveness, analyst engagement, launch readiness, and market impact.
  • Continuously optimize positioning based on performance, customer feedback, and market evolution.

What we are looking for:

Required

  • 8+ years of experience in enterprise software marketing, including Product Marketing, Solution Marketing, Technical Marketing, or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated success translating complex technical concepts into compelling business value propositions and market narratives.
  • Experience partnering with Product Management, Engineering, Data Science, or AI organizations.
  • Strong executive communication and storytelling skills with experience creating content for senior leadership audiences.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives across marketing, product, sales, analyst relations, and corporate communications.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Preferred

  • Experience marketing AI, machine learning, data platforms, analytics, automation, or enterprise software technologies.
  • Supply chain, retail, logistics, manufacturing, or commerce software experience.
  • Experience supporting analyst relations programs and executive thought leadership.
  • MBA or advanced degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

What Success Looks Like

Within the first year, this leader will:

  • Establish Blue Yonder's AI messaging framework as the enterprise standard.
  • Be recognized as a trusted partner by Product, Engineering, Data Science, and executive leadership teams.
  • Equip sales and marketing teams with differentiated AI positioning adopted across key customer-facing channels.
  • Increase the consistency, credibility, and effectiveness of Blue Yonder's AI narrative in analyst engagements, industry events, customer conversations, and product launches.
  • Strengthen Blue Yonder's reputation as a leader in AI-powered supply chain and retail transformation.

Common Interview Questions And Answers

1. HOW DO YOU PLAN YOUR DAY?

This is what this question poses: When do you focus and start working seriously? What are the hours you work optimally? Are you a night owl? A morning bird? Remote teams can be made up of people working on different shifts and around the world, so you won't necessarily be stuck in the 9-5 schedule if it's not for you...

2. HOW DO YOU USE THE DIFFERENT COMMUNICATION TOOLS IN DIFFERENT SITUATIONS?

When you're working on a remote team, there's no way to chat in the hallway between meetings or catch up on the latest project during an office carpool. Therefore, virtual communication will be absolutely essential to get your work done...

3. WHAT IS "WORKING REMOTE" REALLY FOR YOU?

Many people want to work remotely because of the flexibility it allows. You can work anywhere and at any time of the day...

4. WHAT DO YOU NEED IN YOUR PHYSICAL WORKSPACE TO SUCCEED IN YOUR WORK?

With this question, companies are looking to see what equipment they may need to provide you with and to verify how aware you are of what remote working could mean for you physically and logistically...

5. HOW DO YOU PROCESS INFORMATION?

Several years ago, I was working in a team to plan a big event. My supervisor made us all work as a team before the big day. One of our activities has been to find out how each of us processes information...

6. HOW DO YOU MANAGE THE CALENDAR AND THE PROGRAM? WHICH APPLICATIONS / SYSTEM DO YOU USE?

Or you may receive even more specific questions, such as: What's on your calendar? Do you plan blocks of time to do certain types of work? Do you have an open calendar that everyone can see?...

7. HOW DO YOU ORGANIZE FILES, LINKS, AND TABS ON YOUR COMPUTER?

Just like your schedule, how you track files and other information is very important. After all, everything is digital!...

8. HOW TO PRIORITIZE WORK?

The day I watched Marie Forleo's film separating the important from the urgent, my life changed. Not all remote jobs start fast, but most of them are...

9. HOW DO YOU PREPARE FOR A MEETING AND PREPARE A MEETING? WHAT DO YOU SEE HAPPENING DURING THE MEETING?

Just as communication is essential when working remotely, so is organization. Because you won't have those opportunities in the elevator or a casual conversation in the lunchroom, you should take advantage of the little time you have in a video or phone conference...

10. HOW DO YOU USE TECHNOLOGY ON A DAILY BASIS, IN YOUR WORK AND FOR YOUR PLEASURE?

This is a great question because it shows your comfort level with technology, which is very important for a remote worker because you will be working with technology over time...
