PRODUCTION What We Do Whether it's driving a vision from start to finish or collaborating with teams to inspire and deliver projects of Epic quality, Epic's production teams take pride in consistently delivering world-class products and experiences. What You'll Do Epic's third-party content group brings the world's best-known entertainment and gaming IP into Fortnite as creator-enabled experiences built with Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN), funding and shipping a growing slate of licensed and partner titles through external studios and vendors while operating the live platform where that content is discovered and grows. As the program scales with more titles, larger partnerships and major launches ahead, this role will be the production spine of that growth, leading production across the licensed IP slate end to end, coordinating delivery with internal development and platform teams, managing production relationships with licensors and external studios, and overseeing live operations once titles launch. Working alongside design, art, PM and engineering leads, you will own launch readiness, budgets, vendor contracts and capacity plans while building and leading a production team that can scale with the slate. In this role, you will • Shipping and launch readiness: Own launch readiness per title, chairing weekly status across all workstreams (creator tools, island production, publishing and access, discovery placement, IP and content moderation, brand compliance, creator-facing UX, monetisation, documentation, marketing and QA), assigning owners, chasing actions and holding the quality bar • Partner production management: Be the production face to our licensor partners, aligning on brand guidelines and content review while carrying decisions between partners, legal, business development, and the development team • Platform liveops: Own the live operating rhythm of the platform, including release cadence, events, merchandising, discovery and monetisation health, and the feedback loop from live metrics back into the slate and roadmap • Production team leadership: Build and run the production organisation with clear ownership, real delegation, and team ceremonies that hold up as the slate scales across UK and US timezones • Budget, vendors and capacity: Own vendor statements of work, budget management and annual planning, capacity and staffing plans, and org design in partnership with discipline directors, while providing senior leadership with a high-level view of people, projects, and spend • Roadmap and planning: Own the production view of the roadmap across the whole organisation, keeping priorities, sequencing and resourcing aligned across teams, disciplines and partners • AI adoption and process change: Lead the charge through a revolutionary period in game development, helping the team adopt AI where it makes a real difference, and evolve our production practices as the technology matures What we're looking for • Significant experience shipping games or live services from inside a first-party or internal development organisation • Experience managing multiple external partners in parallel (licensors, publishers or studios), including publishing production • Experience leading live operations for a platform or live service at scale • Demonstrated experience owning multi-million dollar budgets, vendor management and capacity planning, with the ability to present and defend them at the executive level • Proven ability to establish production methodologies and standards that drive adoption across teams and the broader organization • Strong people leader who builds effective teams, structures, and empowers others through delegation, while being able to grow a production organisation and protect team health as the slate scales • Calm, low-ego and empathetic leader who builds trust across teams, executives and external partners, navigating ambiguity and complex challenges with clarity, sound judgment and strong communication • Strong strategic judgment, with the ability to see the bigger picture, navigate competing priorities, and make thoughtful trade-offs • Passion for user-generated content and creator communities is a strong advantage • Comfortable collaborating closely with teams and partners across the UK and US time zones This role is open to multiple locations across North America & Europe (including NYC). Pay Transparency Information The expected annual base pay range(s) for this position are detailed below. Each base pay range is relevant only for individuals who are residents of or will be expected to work within the specified locale. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors, which include (but aren't limited to) things such as skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, and experience. In addition to base pay, most employees are eligible to participate in Epic's generous benefit plans and discretionary incentive programs (subject to the terms of those plans or programs). New York City Base Pay Range $219,811 - $322,389 USD Note to Recruitment Agencies: Epic does not accept any unsolicited resumes or approaches from any unauthorized third party (including recruitment or placement agencies) (i.e., a third party with whom we do not have a negotiated and validly executed agreement). 2. HOW DO YOU USE THE DIFFERENT COMMUNICATION TOOLS IN DIFFERENT SITUATIONS?

When you're working on a remote team, there's no way to chat in the hallway between meetings or catch up on the latest project during an office carpool. Therefore, virtual communication will be absolutely essential to get your work done...

5. HOW DO YOU PROCESS INFORMATION?

Several years ago, I was working in a team to plan a big event. My supervisor made us all work as a team before the big day. One of our activities has been to find out how each of us processes information...

6. HOW DO YOU MANAGE THE CALENDAR AND THE PROGRAM? WHICH APPLICATIONS / SYSTEM DO YOU USE?

7. HOW DO YOU ORGANIZE FILES, LINKS, AND TABS ON YOUR COMPUTER?

Just like your schedule, how you track files and other information is very important. After all, everything is digital!...

9. HOW DO YOU PREPARE FOR A MEETING AND PREPARE A MEETING? WHAT DO YOU SEE HAPPENING DURING THE MEETING?

Just as communication is essential when working remotely, so is organization. Because you won't have those opportunities in the elevator or a casual conversation in the lunchroom, you should take advantage of the little time you have in a video or phone conference...

10. HOW DO YOU USE TECHNOLOGY ON A DAILY BASIS, IN YOUR WORK AND FOR YOUR PLEASURE?

This is a great question because it shows your comfort level with technology, which is very important for a remote worker because you will be working with technology over time...
