If you’re ready to bring your perspective and thrive in a people-first culture, join us and make an impact.<br><br><strong>How You Make An Impact<br><br></strong>The Technical Customer Support Representative - Outdoor Power Equipment acts as the product technical communication link between the customer and the organization for Oregon Tool’s Forestry, Lawn & Garden, and Outdoor Power Equipment products. This role responds to customer inquiries via a variety of channels, i.e., email, phone, and web and has a high level of technical expertise to answer most questions about Oregon Tool’s products, with only the most complex problems needing to be escalated up.<br><br><strong>THE DETAILS</strong> <br><br><ul><li> Product Technical Customer Service </li><ul><li> Responds to customer inquiries via email, phone, or web with correct part recommendations </li><li> Provides technical support on product use, maintenance, and troubleshooting </li><li> Acts as a liaison between customers and product teams </li><li> Attends training to stay updated on new products </li><li> Coordinates warranty/goodwill part shipments </li></ul><li> Administrative Support </li><ul><li> Assists with internal/external training logistics and event coordination </li><li> Manages training records and issues certificates </li><li> Handles shipping of warranty/goodwill parts </li><li> Performs general administrative duties as needed <br></li></ul></ul><strong>Qualifications & Skills<br><br></strong><ul><li> Associates Degree in Business or a related field a plus; High School Diploma required or GED equivalent </li><li> Minimum of 6 years’ experience dealing with the technical aspects of outdoor power equipment and replacement parts, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a customer service capacity or related role with outdoor power equipment products </li><li> Ability to effectively handle a high level of phone and email contact with customers and other employees </li><li> Demonstrates a customer service mindset; strives to provide excellent support no matter the problem or the customer </li><li> Comfortable with dealing warmly, professionally and patiently with all types of customers, able to keep cool, collected demeanor when dealing with the unexpected </li><li> Excellent written and verbal communication skills using technical and non-technical terms </li><li> Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and data management software (SAP preferred) <br><br><br></li></ul>At Oregon Tool, we provide a reasonable, good-faith estimate of the compensation range for this role of $56,000 to $67,000 . Final offers are based on various factors such as experience, skills, qualifications and internal equity.
