Job Overview We are currently seeking an experienced Information Security Engineer to join our team as a Dynamic Application Security Testing Specialist. As a key member of our Information Security team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of our applications and systems. This is a remote job opportunity, with the possibility of working from home up to 3 days a week, and a competitive salary of $27-$35 per hour. Key Responsibilities Lead dynamic application security testing using both manual and automated testing tools Review test results from tools and ensure that automated tests are completed successfully Configure tools as needed to ensure success in assessing applications Identify and remove any false positives from automated testing tool reports Analyze and report results and implement a Bug Bar Verify/approve defect fixes and provide application security consulting SME support to engineers Assist engineers with understanding security flaws and risk Help define an acceptable solution to fix defects Communicate Security risk to ISCs and ORCs to document security issues and controls for security planning purposes Assist with maintaining Security Coding Standards and Bug Bar as required Aid in the development of standards as required Provide training and stay up-to-date on third-party (internal and external to Wells Fargo) known security vulnerabilities Create and review malicious use cases/threat models Maintain a broad understanding of security technologies and products Actively participate in improving the security culture and education throughout the organization Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field 3 years of experience in the job offered or data security applications and systems experience 2 years of DAST (Dynamic Application Security Testing) experience 1 year of experience managing application security weaknesses as a developer, a system administrator, or an application systems engineer 1 year of experience analyzing the test results of weaknesses 1 year of experience with automated data security penetration tools Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field Additional years of experience in information security, application development, or a related field Certifications in information security, such as CISSP, CEH, or OSCP Experience with cloud-based technologies and agile development methodologies Strong understanding of security frameworks, regulations, and industry standards Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of technical, business, and interpersonal skills, including: Strong knowledge of information security principles, technologies, and best practices Experience with dynamic application security testing tools and methodologies Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate and complete records Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Wells Fargo, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
