ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Draft Non-Disclosure and Teaming Agreements (NDA/TAs)

  • Draft amendments to existing contracts to ensure compliance

  • Ensure the organization's internal contract documents are accurate and well maintained

  • Coordinate approval of negotiations, contracts, and subcontracts with appropriate management staff

  • Meet with internal customers and external partners to discuss both legal and business matters

  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) and other government agency supplements to advise Program Managers and Senior Executives of available options and possible strategies for overall contract management

  • Provide advice and guidance to the different teams relating to contract generation

  • Maintain excellent working relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met

  • Create, prepare, review, and edit all contracts

  • Provide support and advice on new potential businesses opportunities

  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes and devise plans to implement these changes


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:


  • 5 years of years’ experience in Contracts

  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of Government contracts terminology in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS)

  • Comfortable working as part of a multidimensional team

  • Ability to work with multiple individuals and across multiple departments

  • Exemplify a strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks to meet urgent contractual deadlines

  • Possesses superior organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with shifting deadlines

  • Must have strong computer skills and knowledge of common programs such as Microsoft Office and G Suite

  • Previous experience working with contract regulations the related laws is strongly preferred

  • Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Capable of professionally managing confidential information

  • Exemplify creative problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to work as needed

  • Military background is a plus

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in a relevant field
