We offer you the opportunity to delight millions of TV streamers around the world while gaining meaningful experience across a variety of disciplines.</p><p> </p> <strong>About the role</strong><p>This position will focus on logistics purchasing and will be part of a sourcing team, owning supplier and partner relationships, defining the category and supply base strategy, and managing and negotiating Logistics NDAs, Master Service Agreements/Statements of Work, and related contractual execution activities.</p><p>An ideal candidate will be ambitious to grow within Roku. You must be a high-energy, high-impact individual with a demonstrated ability to succeed in a demanding, stressful startup environment. Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, handle undefined processes, evaluate alternatives, maintain a growth mindset, and communicate effectively to lead cross-functional organizations through sourcing activities will be required. </p><p><em>For California Only - The estimated annual base salary for this position is between $120,000 - $135,000 annually. Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location. This role is eligible for health insurance, equity awards, life insurance, disability benefits, parental leave, wellness benefits, and paid time off.</em></p><p> </p><strong>What you'll be doing</strong><ul><li>Manage the Logistics Sourcing category and own the engagements at all levels with carriers, suppliers, and partners. This includes ownership of all partnerships and a sourcing portfolio that enables Roku to manage transportation, customs, and warehousing spend. </li><li>Negotiate and gain agreement to Statements of Work, Master Service Agreements, NDA, and other contracts with carriers and freight forwarders. </li><li>Negotiate, manage, coordinate, and support Logistics sourcing activities for all modes of Freight (air, ocean, trucking, and final mile), including warehousing and brokerage, preparing RFx, managing the process, and analyzing competitive bids using the eSourcing tool. </li><li>Maintain overall supplier relationships and act as point of contact for all commercial issues, including internal report-outs summarizing sourcing status, availability, and cost status</li><li>Identify cost optimization opportunities by facilitating internal and partner team collaboration to achieve year-over-year improvements. </li><li>Host QBR and carrier scorecard reviews and work with carriers on a range of topics, including operations, invoicing, performance concerns, purchase orders, cost savings, etc. </li><li>Achieve established commitments on total cost results, supply, quality, claims, and compliance adherence, and on-time delivery</li><li>Travel 10% to visit suppliers and stakeholders to perform business and program reviews</li></ul><p> </p><strong>We're excited if you have</strong><ul><li>A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, or Business is required. Master’s degree a plus</li><li>3-5 years of experience in Logistics Purchasing, preferably within the consumer electronics / hi-tech industry, is a plus</li><li>Direct experience sourcing Transportation services (Ocean, Air, LTL, Parcel, Truckload, Final Mile), Warehousing services, and Customs preferred</li><li>Knowledge of operational experience within Logistics & Distribution and eSourcing tools</li><li>Demonstrated skills in negotiating and formulating contracts for services procurement, understanding of outsourcing models and cost associated with them, total cost models, should cost model, service rate benchmarking and contractual negotiation</li><li>The ideal individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast-moving, dynamic environment</li><li>Self-motivated and self-directed; however, must have demonstrated ability to work well with people</li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office applications: Excel, Word & PowerPoint</li><li>Fluent verbal and written communication in English and interpersonal skills</li></ul> <p> </p><strong>Our Hybrid Work Approach</strong><p>Roku fosters an inclusive and collaborative environment where teams work in the office Monday through Thursday.
