L4 Storage Group is seeking friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented Customer Service Representatives to join our growing self-storage team. This position plays a key role in providing exceptional customer service while helping maximize occupancy through lead follow-up, rentals, collections, and tenant support.

The ideal candidate enjoys talking with people, is comfortable multitasking, and takes ownership of their work from start to finish. We are looking for someone who is reliable, accountable, and follows through on every task and customer interaction without needing constant reminders.

Eligible for monthly performance bonuses based on company and individual performance after 90 days.

This is a phone-intensive customer service and sales position. If you do not enjoy spending most of your workday talking with customers on the phone, this position will likely not be a good fit.

You must have your own reliable computer equipment, high-speed internet, and a quiet, distraction-free workspace.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming customer calls professionally and courteously.
  • Return missed calls promptly.
  • Respond to voicemail, email, text messages, and online inquiries.
  • Follow up on every lead until the customer rents or requests no further contact.
  • Assist customers with renting storage units and completing rental agreements.
  • Process payments and enroll customers in AutoPay.
  • Contact tenants regarding past-due balances and collect payments.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and resolving concerns.
  • Document all customer interactions accurately in company software.
  • Promote tenant protection plans and current company promotions.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer information.
  • Meet individual performance goals and company standards.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and ensure they are completed accurately and on time while following established processes.

Qualifications

  • Previous customer service, sales, or call center experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable speaking with customers by phone throughout the day.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and takes ownership of all responsibilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to completing work correctly the first time.
  • Basic computer proficiency and the ability to navigate multiple software programs efficiently.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
