Position Purpose
We need a self-driven, experienced SAP SD/MM Consultant to join the JCB SAP Functional team and support our expanding JCB USA business.

Full Time, Exempt

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities

  • Assist in proposing solutions for new business requirements.
  • Provide functional input on process issues and enhancements, including process mapping, writing functional specifications, and testing.
  • Drive continuous improvement by delivering SAP projects and enhancements.
  • Support the existing SAP solution in the USA, handle helpdesk queries, and improve KPI reporting.
  • Support the business with training and enhance business understanding of the SAP system.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum of 4-5 years total SAP functional experience consisting of:
  • Core competency in SD/MM configuration/process
  • Able to complete changes in the system to a high standard to include, writing of a functional specification, testing of the developments, training, and post go-live support.
  • Strong Business consulting skills to lead and define processes and solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of SAP VMS (vehicle Management system), GATP (Global available to Promise) and SAP Warranty solution, workorder process. SAP PP/QM
  • Ability to debug code.
  • Extensive SAP experience in SAP support or SAP project settings.
  • Experience with SAP template rollouts and methodologies.
  • Experience of working for an International Company with a Global SAP multi-country environment would be an advantage, preferably within the manufacturing or automotive industry.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Competencies
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software
  • Comfortable in an in-person office environment
  • Technical competence is a plus
  • Must be customer service oriented, flexible, and have a high energy level
  • Must have excellent follow-through skills
  • Must have a professional, polished, and sophisticated demeanor and be comfortable in most social settings
  • Must be open to domestic and international travel
  • Desire and proven ability to learn and grow
Current Projects
  • We are embarking on an exciting SAP journey for our new Sales System and will be introducing S/4 Hana to our existing SAP Landscape; this will be an ideal time for the right candidate to get on-board and learn new skills, Commerce Cloud and CPQ to name a couple.
  • We will be rolling out our Manufacturing Template onto S4 to our new USA factory and the existing factory this involves the introduction of several bespoke applications that have been written in React, using SAP as the back end; again, if the right candidate has an interest in this area there are opportunities to increase your skillset.
