This position is eligible for remote work at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.

Your Responsibilities

As a Tech Marketing Architect for JD Tech Commercialization you will:

• Lead the development of technology marketing strategy, message architecture, and audience frameworks that improve customer relevance, solution adoption, and business impact.

• Translate customer insights, market trends, adoption barriers, and business priorities into clear value propositions, messaging guidance, and go-to-market recommendations.

• Partner across product marketing, customer insights, market intelligence, product management, and regional marketing teams to align technology positioning and execution.

• Develop scalable playbooks, tools, and processes that enable consistent, customer-centered technology marketing across portfolios, segments, and regions.

• Support portfolio and bundled solution marketing strategies that communicate the value of integrated technology offerings and customer outcomes.

• Benchmark external technology marketing best practices and apply relevant approaches to strengthen marketing maturity and competitive positioning.

• Influence cross-functional stakeholders through strategic recommendations, executive-ready communication, and practical frameworks that drive alignment and action.

This position is eligible for remote work at the present time (although you still must be based in the US); however preference is for a candidate who is able to work out of a John Deere US facility.

What Skills You Need

• Strategic marketing, product marketing, commercialization, or technology adoption experience in a complex business environment.

• Proven ability to develop customer segmentation, value propositions, positioning, messaging frameworks, and go-to-market strategies.

• Strong customer insight orientation, with the ability to translate research, market intelligence, and business priorities into always-on marketing strategy.

• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders across product, marketing, sales, insights, and regional teams.

• Strong executive communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex topics and align teams around clear recommendations.

What Makes You Stand Out

• Ability to create scalable playbooks, tools, processes, and governance models that improve consistency and execution.

• Experience working with agencies, consultants, research partners, or external strategic partners.

• Demonstrated curiosity for external best practices, emerging marketing trends, and technology-driven customer engagement models.

• Knowledge of agriculture, precision technology, or specialized B2B markets with complex customer needs and channel dynamics.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Agricultural Business, Engineering, Technology, or related field;

• Advanced degree or certification in marketing strategy, product marketing, customer insights, segmentation, or go-to-market strategy preferred.
