This role influences the commercial team's negotiation strategies and coordinates with legal, commercial, and customer service teams to ensure that pricing levels are properly executed and administered across Merchandising Display and Graphic Solutions. <br/><br/>To succeed in the Manager of Pricing Analysis and Control role, an individual must be able to quickly analyze data, understand the strategic objectives of WestRock and how they apply to specific customers, have an understanding of various pricing philosophies and be able to recognize which philosophy best fits for a given situation, and be able to communicate effectively across various levels of the organization. <br/><br/><strong>How you will impact WestRock: </strong><br/><br/><ul><li>Lead development of pricing and analysis tools</li><li>Continually drive improvement of pricing tools and process in compliance with pricing governance</li><li>Ensure that appropriate information is provided to leadership to support commercial decisions from a WRK integrated view in a timely manner</li><li>Support and drive margin enhancement projects</li><li>Manage the pricing administration for contract customers, including coordination of customer specific price change mechanisms</li><li>Forecast impact of movements in price change mechanism indices for financial analysis</li><li>Lead creation/audit of price change mechanisms for non-traditional instruments </li><li>Work with coworkers at local facilities to ensure the accurate implementation of price lists and price matrices</li><li>Maintain of data and calculations used for pricing, estimating and analysis tools</li><li>Ensure upkeep of various portions of the pricing templates used to generate pricing and costing information</li><li>Maintain SalesForce.com contract repository is accurate and up to date for the divisions</li><li>Coordinate with peers in similar roles for other divisions to ensure we are aligned on contract details for customers who touch multiple parts of the WestRock portfolio</li><li>Develop tools to monitor inflationary pressures we face across our business to communicate with customers broader price change mechanisms other than PPW based information. </li></ul><br/><br/><strong>What you need to succeed:</strong><br/><ul><li>Strong pricing and estimating background </li><li>Ability to quickly decipher pricing strategy that will result in maximizing WestRock margin</li><li>Understanding of Display and Graphics</li><li>Formidable analytical skills</li><li>Continuous improvement mindset</li><li>10+ years of experience in commercially focused, pricing or operations role</li><li>Understanding of the manufacturing process</li><li>Familiarity with WestRock's unique value propositions </li><li>Ability to collaborate across various levels of WestRock</li></ul><br/><br/>The salary range for this position is $102,750.00 - $171,250.00, depending on your role, level, and location. The range listed is also the expected pay for roles in Illinois and Colorado. The benefits for this role include short-term bonus incentive, health, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts or health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and paid sick leave as required by applicable state/local law, 15 days of paid vacation, and 11 days of paid holidays, subject to annual change.
