Outbound Sales Representative - Pharmacy Partnerships (Cold Calling, Remote)

Other Jobs To Apply

Job overview

MedSmart Insurance partners with independent pharmacies to help their Medicare patients find the best drug coverage for their needs — keeping patients healthy, loyal, and at the pharmacy they already trust. As our pharmacy network grows, we're looking for a driven outbound representative to help us reach more independent pharmacies across the country.

Pay: $15.00–$20.00 per hour base, plus a $100 commission for every pharmacy that signs on as a partner. Strong performers should expect effective earnings around $30 per hour.

Job type: Part-time, project-based — Remote

Schedule: A few hours a day per week, starting in September, with the potential to return for future enrollment cycles

The role

This is a cold-calling, outbound role. You'll call independent pharmacies, introduce MedSmart's partnership program, qualify their interest, and set appointments (or hand warm, interested pharmacies) to our team. You're the tip of the spear — the first friendly, confident voice a pharmacy owner hears about what we do.

This is a hunter's seat. If you love the phone, thrive on volume, and get energized by turning a cold "who's this?" into an interested "tell me more," you'll do well here.

What you'll do

  • Make a high volume of outbound calls to independent pharmacies.
  • Clearly and warmly explain MedSmart's partnership program and its value to a pharmacy and its patients.
  • Qualify interest, handle objections, and keep pharmacies engaged.
  • Set appointments and route interested pharmacies cleanly to our team.
  • Track every call and outcome in our CRM (HubSpot).

What we're looking for

  • Proven outbound / cold-calling or phone sales experience — you're comfortable dialing all day and hearing "no" on the way to "yes."
  • Confident, warm, and resilient on the phone.
  • Self-motivated and organized; you manage your own call flow without hand-holding.
  • Comfortable with CRM tools and basic tech.
  • Healthcare, Medicare, insurance, or pharmacy familiarity is a plus, not a requirement — we'll teach you the pitch.

Why join

  • Uncapped commission on top of your hourly base — the more pharmacies you open, the more you make.
  • Remote and flexible.
  • A clear, honest pitch you can feel good about: we genuinely help pharmacies and their patients.
  • Get in early as we grow the network.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Benefits:

  • Flexible schedule
  • Work from home

Application Question(s):

  • Do you have prior outbound/cold-calling or phone sales experience? Roughly how many calls a day were you making?
  • Are you comfortable making a high volume of cold calls in a remote role?
  • Do you have any healthcare, Medicare, insurance, or pharmacy experience? (Not required.)
  • What's your availability?
